Police have arrested a wanted man and woman in connection with a deadly shooting in Wellsford, north of Auckland.
Desmond Bourne and Serene Tilsley were being wanted by police after Zane Smith, 37, was found dead in his car on Wayby Station Rd, with a gunshot wound on Saturday.
Detective Inspector Scott Beard said Tilsley turned herself in to police and had been charged with being an accessory to the murder.
Bourne was located by police at a central Auckland address where he was found unconscious.

An ambulance was called to the scene, and he is now in the hospital under guard.
Tilsley is due to appear in North Shore District Court Thursday afternoon.
Beard said investigations were ongoing, however, at this point, police were not looking for anyone else in connection with Smith’s death.
Smith and Bourne were believed to know each other, Beard said, and the murder was not being treated as a random attack.
Smith was remembered by his friends as an “amazing person” who was an incredibly loyal friend.
