A man who gave his little daughter heroin through a syringe in her mouth to get revenge on his ex-girlfriend died in prison.
British Roger Weir was jailed for 18 years in 2012 after trying to murder his ex with a butcher knife and a flare.
After he was unsuccessful in his assassination attempt, he sought revenge by pouring heroin into his own daughter’s mouth.
The ex-girlfriend ran for her life and called the police, who then took away Weir’s baby, who confesses to being a “psychopath.”
After the attack on his ex and the abusive act of his young daughter, Weir told the court that the “voices” in his head were to blame for the attack.
Midway through his sentence, he was admitted to the hospital with a suspected gallbladder infection, according to the Daily Post.
After further investigation, health officials discovered that he had liver cancer.
He died on October 22, 2019.
A coroner described his death as “due to natural causes.”
Weir had a history of medical complications, according to the investigation, including a brain hemorrhage in 2015 after being attacked in custody.
It was to be released in 2021.
