Donald Trump has admitted that he will leave the White House before Inauguration Day.

“It’s going to be a very difficult thing to admit because we know there was massive fraud,” Trump said at the White House, answering questions from the media for the first time since the election.

When asked if he would leave in a peaceful transition of power, Trump replied: “I certainly will. And you know it.”

However, Trump also renewed unsubstantiated claims that “massive fraud” and corrupt officials in battlefield states had led to his electoral defeat, saying he will go to Georgia to rally supporters before two Senate second-round elections. .

“This has a long way to go,” Trump said on Thanksgiving night in the United States, despite President-elect Joe Biden winning the election.

“This election was a fraud. It was a rigged election.”

Following their conversation, Trump answered questions for the first time since Election Day and angrily denounced officials in Georgia and Pennsylvania, two key states that helped bring Biden to victory, as “enemies of the state” and claimed they were guilty of electoral fraud.

State officials and international observers have repeatedly said that there is no evidence of massive fraud and that the Trump campaign has repeatedly ruled in court.

Trump said he would hold a rally with thousands of supporters in Georgia to support a pair of Republican candidates, Senator David Perdue and Senator Kelly Loeffler, whose runoff elections on Jan.5 will determine which party controls the Senate.

Trump initially said the rally would be on Saturday. The White House later clarified that it was referring to December 5.
