Wellington High School was closed this morning after police received a “credible threat.”

On Thursday morning, the school’s principal, Dominic Killalea, posted on Facebook that the police had received a “credible threat” against the school and the school asked the students to remain in class.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that police were now speaking to two people in connection with the incident following a threat on social media.
