Jon Rahm may not have good shots up his sleeve when the Masters for real starts on Friday morning (NZT).
The Spanish golfer has drilled two aces at Augusta National before the last major of the year, including a barely credible beauty who jumps the pond on the 16th.
Rahm hit the extraordinary hole-in-one on his 26th birthday, leaping the ball across the pond in three jumps, before it swept the green from right to left, dripping down and into the cup.
On Tuesday, he also cleared the fourth hole par three playing alongside Rickie Fowler and Brendon Todd.

It’s unclear who first tried to jump the puddle, but since the 1980s it has become part of the run-up to the event for golfers to shoot into the water, rather than over it.
Masters’ official Twitter account tweeted images of the shot early Wednesday morning (NZT), which has since been viewed more than seven million times.
American Jordan Spieth made headlines in 2018 for his 16 attempt, which resembled Rahm’s but failed to find the cup.
Tiger Woods will begin his title defense at 1.55am on Friday morning (NZT) from the 10th tee, and will team up with Open champion Shane Lowry.
Due to daylight concerns, it will be the first time the Masters will be played from two tees in the first two rounds.
The Masters was originally scheduled to be played in April, but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
