Fox News parted ways with White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany after just over a minute of her recent press conference, saying the network could no longer carry her statements in conscience.

McEnany was holding a press conference with Republican Party Chair Ronna McDaniel to discuss the Trump campaign’s allegations of voter fraud.

“There is only one party in the United States that opposes verification of signatures, citizenship, residency, eligibility,” McEnany said.

“There is only one party in America that tries to keep observers out of the counting room. And that party, my friends, is the Democratic Party.

“He is not taking these positions because he wants an honest election, he is not opposing a vote audit because he wants an accurate count, he is not opposing our efforts for sunlight and transparency because he has nothing to hide.

“You take these positions because you welcome fraud and you welcome illegal voting. Our position is clear. We want to protect the franchise of the American people. We want an honest, accurate, and legal count. We want maximum sunlight, we want maximum sunlight. transparency.

“We want all legal votes to be counted and all illegal votes discarded. Unlike our opponents, we have nothing to hide. The integrity of our choices is important.

“The Constitution of the United States matters. What we have seen across the country is that Democratic officials systematically try to do away with the Constitution in order to tip the balance of elections in their favor.”

Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto interrupted the broadcast just as McEnany got to the part about discarding illegal votes.

“Wait, wait, wait,” he said.

“I think we have to be very clear: you are accusing the other side of welcoming fraud and illegal voting, unless I have more details to support that, I cannot in good spirits continue to show you this.”

“I want to make sure that maybe they have something to back that up, but it’s an explosive charge to do, that the other side is effectively manipulating and deceiving. If she brings proof of that, of course we’ll take you.”
