CNN’s Chris Cuomo said that Meadows’ diagnosis demonstrates Trump’s “indifference” toward the Covid-19 pandemic, even though he and other White House staff tested positive in October.

Meadows, who rarely wears a face mask, was reportedly not wearing it on election night at the White House, where she interacted not only with the president, but also with Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner, and Trump’s son. , Donald Jr.

A White House aide told CNN that officials are now “alarmed” given that Meadows has been close to other Trump staff and family members, although it is potentially contagious.
