A new historical case has been added to the total number of New Zealand coronavirus cases.
It occurs when 25 close contacts of a quarantine worker who tested positive for the virus are identified, isolated and tested.
So far, six have yielded negative results.
On Friday, the ministry said a worker at the Jet Park quarantine facility in Māngere, south of Auckland, had tested positive for Covid-19.
