Labor leader Jacinda Ardern and Green Marama co-leaders Davidson and James Shaw formally signed their governing agreement.
The signing in front of the media came after Green delegates voted Saturday night to approve the deal, the latest hurdle to creating a new Labor government with the support of the Greens.
The deal sees Shaw continue as Climate Change Minister and Davidson to become Minister for the first time.
You will get the portfolio of Prevention of family and sexual violence. Both will be ministers outside the Cabinet.

Labor’s landslide victory meant he could rule alone, but he has chosen to rule with a cooperation agreement with the Greens.
Ardern said the Labor Party won a “clear mandate” to form a majority government to accelerate the country’s recovery from Covid-19.
“This agreement respects the mandate that voters gave to Labor as we continue our cooperative work with the Green Party in areas where they add expertise to build the strongest consensus possible,” Ardern said.
The agreement was signed at Ardern’s office on the ninth floor of Beehive on Sunday morning.
Shaw on Sunday rejected suggestions that his party would be gagged by the deal.
“We could spend much of the next three years on ‘what ifs,’ but we are focused on what’s next,” Shaw said.
