Māngere locals are unhappy with Pak n Save’s price discrepancies

It was the talk of the town of Māngere today: local Pak n Save fined $ 78,000 for charging consumers higher prices for alleged promotional items.

The overload occurred on six dates over several months in 2018 and was related to items such as salmon, mushrooms and avocados.

Wednesday’s fine has resulted in backlash from customers, with some saying the Māngere community has been scammed.
