Another added that Anderson-Hill “filled our days with joy.”

“I loved you [sic] like the sister I never had and will always love you. “

Detective Sergeant Damon Wells said officers want to speak to anyone who may have been near the Cattlestop Crag climbing area on Sunday.

“He was thin in build, approximately 160 cm tall, with blond hair with dreadlocks. He was wearing a hooded robe, long white and blue paisley-patterned pants, and black and white shoes.”

Wells said Anderson-Hill was possibly carrying a Globe brand longboard, described as 1 meter long with a drop in the middle.

“We haven’t located your longboard yet. If anyone found this item, we’d like to know.”

Anyone who has been near the Cattlestop Crag climbing area on Sunday, or who has seen the woman walking through the Mt Pleasant, Lyttleton or Summit Rd area during the night on Sunday, should call the police at 105.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
