Joseph Gordon-Levitt says New Zealand is one of the only places where he feels safe, as he is reportedly moving to Wellington with his family.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is reportedly in Wellington, after leaving Los Angeles in the United States with his family to escape the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
In an interview with The conversation on CBS, Gordon-Levitt praised Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s response to the pandemic, calling it “incredible”, and said this was one of the few countries in the world where she felt safe.
Appeared in The conversation last week to talk about his new Netflix movie, The Chicago 7 trial, and blurted out that he was working in New Zealand. The spinoff reported that the Third rock from the sun The star had been seen in Island Bay, Wellington.
He said The conversation I was in New Zealand to work on a new project, which I had not been able to launch in Los Angeles.

“We couldn’t find a way that we felt really safe, so we came here to New Zealand,” he said.
“They have handled the pandemic in an incredible way and life is normal.”
Gordon-Levitt to star in and produce a new comedy-drama for Apple TV, Mr Corman. Work got underway on the project late last year, according to Variety.
Guatemalan actor Arturo Castro would star alongside Gordon-Levitt, who would direct the show and play Josh Corman, a teacher from the San Fernando Valley.

The decision to let the Avatar crew into New Zealand has angered those unable to bring their loved ones home.
New Zealand’s relative success in dominating Covid-19 has attracted film and television productions from around the world, who have either relocated from abroad or been able to continue production while Hollywood and elsewhere have had to stop.
The largest of the productions, Amazon Lord of the Rings teleseries continues filming in Auckland. In Wellington, James Cameron continues to work on the Avatar aftermath.
