US President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden will meet on the debating stage for the second and final time on Thursday night (Friday NZT) in Tennessee.
The 90-minute primetime meeting, which begins at 2 p.m. (NZT), occurs just 12 days before Election Day.
The Committee on Presidential Debates unanimously decided this week to silence each candidate’s microphone during the initial two minutes of his opponent’s comments on each of the six issues presented.
Commission co-chair Frank Fahrenkopf said in a recent interview that the debates should be changed “for the American people to have a better experience” after the first rebel debate.
