A serious accident is partially blocking Dominion Road near the intersection with Mt Albert Road in central Auckland.
Two roads are partially closed and several people were injured after two separate serious accidents in Auckland.
Police said two vehicles collided near the intersection of the Karaka and Oira roads in rural Karaka at around 8:50 p.m. Monday.
Initial reports to police suggested that the people had been injured, although it is unclear how seriously.
The road is closed and there are detours in place.

Police warned motorists to avoid the area.
Meanwhile, on Mt Albert, several vehicles have crashed on Dominion Rd.
Police were called for that accident, near the intersection with Mt Albert Rd, at 8.23pm. The lanes are blocked.
One person involved in the incident had serious injuries, another had moderate injuries and four more had minor injuries, a police spokesman said.
Earlier on Monday, a 5-month-old baby died after the stroller they were traveling in was struck by a pickup truck in Northcote on Auckland’s north shore.
The driver who hit the stroller said he rolled off a driveway directly in front of his vehicle and there was no way he was going to avoid it.
