Police have made four more arrests in connection with the murder of Hamilton’s man, Sao Young.

A 32-year-old man was arrested today in Hamilton, while a 37-year-old man was arrested on Monday, September 28.

Both have been charged with murder.

On Sunday, September 27, two people were arrested in Whangarei.

A 25-year-old woman has been charged with murder and kidnapping, and a 28-year-old man has been charged with post-crime complicity and kidnapping.

In all, seven people have been arrested in connection with Mr. Young’s death, and all are due to appear in Hamilton Superior Court on Tuesday, October 6.

Young, 40, was last seen Thursday night, March 12, in the Insoll Ave area and police believe it was that night he was killed.

After his death, his body was taken to a rural property on Ballard Rd in Gordonton, where it was discovered by a farmer, almost a month later, on Monday, April 13.
