Kiwis Kai-Kara France and Brad Riddell went through their weigh-ins more routinely, but their Auckland partner Israel Adesanya did not.
There was a fight between Adesanya and his Brazilian opponent Paulo Costa, when Costa taunted him with a ju-jitsu belt.
Young’s opponent lost the weight by four pounds. The fight is likely to continue.
