Details about the places visited by three new cases of Covid-19 in the community have been published by the Ministry of Health.
The three people, all members of the same family, were announced by the ministry on Wednesday and have been linked to a flight taken by a man who tested positive after emerging from managed isolation last weekend.
Two had returned from abroad and had completed 14 days of controlled isolation in Christchurch before flying back to Auckland on a charter flight. The third person is a household contact.
Before the trio tested positive for Covid-19, they visited Taupō from September 18-20 and visited various tourist attractions.

While in Taupō they met with 18 people from the Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton regions. All have been classified as close contacts and are being tested and isolating.
Anyone who has been in contact with these cases or who has visited the same places is asked to remain alert and seek a test for Covid-19 if symptoms arise.

Two of the three community cases traveled to Auckland on a charter flight from Christchurch National Airport.
Christchurch National Airport
The two returnees traveled through Christchurch National Airport on September 11.
They were at the airport between 10.30am and 12.30pm before boarding a flight and traveling back to Auckland.
There were 86 people on the flight, including the man who tested positive last weekend. All travelers have been tested, when necessary.
Seventy have returned negative results, seven are still pending. There were six previously reported cases on board that were not evaluated.
Just Cuts, Auckland
Between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on September 17, people visited Just Cuts at the Westfield St Lukes Mall.
The store has been closed for a deep cleaning and will be closed until September 26.
Only one other person in the store at the time has been identified as a close contact. Others on the site have been classified as casual contacts and are considered to have a “very low risk” of contracting the virus.
“While the New Zealand Ministry of Health has confirmed that all proper hygiene measures are in place and that any risk is very low, the safety of our stylists and clients is, and always has been, the top priority,” read a post. on the salon’s Facebook page.
Taupō DeBretts Spa Resort
On their first day in Taupō, two of the family members visited the hot pools at DeBretts Spa Resort. They were on site from 2.30 pm to 7 pm on September 18.
Operations manager Mirela Petrar said staff members and other customers were not considered close contacts, and the pools were informed that they could remain open.
“At that time we were still below level 2, so there was social distancing and less than 100 people in the bathrooms.”
The pools were emptied every night, Petrar said. Additional cleaning was in progress, with a deep cleaning Thursday night.
Tandem Skydiving Taupem
They also skydived with Taupō Tandem Skydiving the next day, September 19.
They visited between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The skydiving company is located at Taupō Airport.
The tandem master is considered the only close contact, which has been tested and is in self-isolation for 14 days, said lead pilot Mark Funnell.
The business was asking everyone else on the plane that afternoon to get tested at the city’s test station on Miro Street. They also reviewed the footage from their security cameras and recommended that anyone who came in contact with the positive case or felt bad to get tested.
The skydiving operation was open after Sunday’s visit, but had not flown since.
The plane is cleaned after each flight and has had no customers since Monday.
