A two-bedroom condo in Lake Worth, Florida, looks modest from the outside. Inside, thousands of beer cans line walls and ceilings.
The former owner, who died in June, made it his “mission in life” to wallpaper every part of the condo with empty cans of Anheuser-Busch’s flagship beer, Budweiser. With the exception of the two bathrooms, all bedrooms are lined with cans, including the ceilings and the master closet.
‘Budman’ Michael Amelotte was a United States Navy veteran who worked as a decoder during the Cuban Missile Crisis, according to the Facebook post from Kearney & Associates Realty.

Amelotte moved into the condo in 1986 and started the beer can project four years later. It took her 16 years to consume enough drinks to complete it.
Publicly traded agent Kristen Kearney told realtor.com that she remembers the impact of walking inside the 75-square-meter home.
They warned me that the house was covered with beer cans, ”he said. “And I thought to myself, ‘Well, I wonder where in the world they found wallpaper from beer cans.’
Kearney shared photos of the property on Facebook, and to his delight, Anheuser-Busch responded.
“The perfect house does not exist …”, they captioned a collage of the photos.
The attention to detail is incredible.
Amelotte even created crown molding and used different sizes of cans to accommodate electrical outlets and air conditioning vents.
The decoration of the man cave overwhelms the living room, dining room, kitchen and two bedrooms. Every available inch of surface area is covered with cans. They are even hidden under and around kitchen furniture and appliances.
It is not known if the Florida man had any help drinking the beer or if he completed the feat on his own.
“His life’s mission was to wallpaper his house with beer cans,” Kearney said, “and he did.”
The condo is also filled with sports memorabilia because Amelotte was an avid golfer and “a lifelong Buffalo and Yankees fan.”
Unique décor can often act as a deterrent to the home buyer, but not in this case.
The property went on sale for US $ 100,000 (NZ $ 151,000) and was under contract within a few weeks of being on the market.
The Amelotte masterpiece received multiple offers and the new owners made their offer without even seeing the property in person.
They didn’t reveal if they intended to keep the current decor for Kearney, however Budweiser has provided them with some incentive to do so.
The brewing company has offered one-year drinks to the new owners, as long as they don’t dispose of the cans.

Amelotte’s former neighbor and best friend tweeted the Budweiser post again to say he would have loved the recognition.
“This is Budman’s (the former owner of this house) best friend / daughter figure / former neighbor,” he wrote.
“I wish I could see the recognition now! Thank you so much for recognizing his 20+ years and many renewals of dedication to your brand! He would love it.”
