Auckland Fatal Motorcycle Accident: Police Seek Information on Mystery Drivers

Police are asking for witnesses to a fatal motorcycle accident Friday night on a West Auckland road.

In a statement, police said they were also looking for anyone who saw a mysterious group of passengers traveling west on State Highway 18, before the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. between Squadron Dr and Brigham Creek. , Hobsonville.

The cyclist was heading west when they fell off their bike and were hit by another vehicle.

After the accident, a single helicopter-type motorcycle could be seen amid a heavy police presence on the closed section of the highway.

Up the road, a Mainfreight truck was parked on the shoulder of the road.
