Rozayah Dallas Hudson, 6, died in a farm accident in Opotiki on September 17.
The mother of a six-year-old boy killed on a dairy farm in the Bay of Plenty says the family is “traumatized” by his death.
Rozayah Dallas Hudson died on a farm in Ōpōtiki Thursday night.
Police have yet to say what caused Hudson’s death, but they have said he was on the farm, rather than working.

“[He] he was so full of emotion and everyone around him would feel it. He had a strong, humble, loving, loyal, and helpful nature.
“I was too young, it was my first love and losing my baby has opened a great deep wound, my heart has been torn out. I needed my son more than he needed me. “
Hudson’s death had “traumatized” the family, Topp said.
“But I know my son would want us to be at peace.”
A WorkSafe spokeswoman confirmed that she was investigating the incident.
He said he was notified of a death on a dairy farm and understood that the person who died was a child.
This is the third death on a New Zealand farm in the past week, following two tractor deaths, one in Te Kuiti and the other in Hastings.
Hudson’s death has been referred to the coroner.
