Rowson Kitchens’ Annika Rowson won two awards at the 2020 NKBA Excellence in Design Awards for her work in this kitchen.
New Plymouth kitchen designer Annika Rowson won two awards at the 2020 NKBA Excellence in Design Awards on Friday night.
The NKBA Excellence in Design Awards are held annually and celebrate the work of New Zealand kitchen and bathroom designers and manufacturers.
Over 100 designs were entered from across New Zealand.
Rowson of Rowson Kitchens won the 2020 NKBA Excellence in Design Taranaki Chapter Kitchen & Bathroom Recognition Award and the NKBA Excellence in Design Visual Impact Award for his work on a striking navy blue curved Taranaki kitchen.

The client’s commission was a sleek yet textured kitchen with a luxurious European aesthetic that combined brass elements with bold cabinets and ample storage space.
The judges rated the space elegant and understated with gorgeous wavy details.
The most prestigious awards of the evening, the 2020 NKBA Excellence in Design SUPREME Kitchen Design Award and the 2020 NKBA Excellence in Design SUPREME Bathroom Design Award were for a kitchen design by Chelsey Mathieson of Vekart and a bathroom design located in Auckland by Christchurch designer Angelique. Armstrong of Armstrong Interiors.
