A twenty-something Australian woman from New South Wales has instantly become a billionaire after winning the Powerball jackpot of more than A $ 60 million in Thursday night’s drawing.

The winning numbers were: 4, 11, 19, 28, 3, 5, 7 and the Powerball was 6.

However, the woman was also lucky with her participation in PowerHit, which means that her total prize was $ 60,683,656.95.

The official body of the Australian lottery, The Lott, confirmed that the woman from the inner suburbs of Sydney was the only winner of Division One.

He said he missed the first call to hear the news of his victory, but broke down in tears after answering a second time.

“Are you kidding me? Are you sure about this? My God, this is crazy. Thank you,” the woman said.

“I’m trying to compose myself. I feel like this has to be some kind of joke.

“It’s my husband who usually buys the tickets. There’s no way he’s going to believe me. This is amazing.”

The woman is said to have been surrounded by relatives when she heard the news and has plans on how to spend the money.

“We will be able to pay off all of our debts, help our parents and all of our siblings. We will be able to buy a house,” Nine News reported.

“Hopefully when we can travel again, we can take our whole family somewhere abroad. This is very overwhelming. I’m shaking like a leaf.”

Earlier Thursday, The Lott spokesman Matt Hart said: “We expect up to a quarter of Australian adults to have an entry in the drawing.”

More than 1.5 million people participated in Thursday night’s jackpot and the result means it is the ninth Division One jackpot won this year.

There were also 26 winners from Division Two, with at least 20 from NSW or ACT, who won $ 35,977.90 for their tickets in the drawing.

This comes after a Victorian woman won the division one total prize in the Oz Lotto drawing this Tuesday.

“I play every week, and lately I have not had much luck. I always joke with the boy in the store that I never win anything,” he told The Lott when he heard the news.

“We have been playing for a long time. I always play the same numbers. I have played them for about 20 years, I would say.”

Despite winning a multi-million dollar award, the self-confessed “country girl” revealed that she did not plan to retire early and was already working hard.

“I don’t know what I’d do with myself if I retired! I’m a country girl from head to toe!” she laughed. “I definitely need a new car, so I’ll start with that.”
