It comes after Labor launched its first television ad on Friday.
In National’s video, posted on Facebook with the title “Let me be honest with you,” leader Judith Collins can be seen standing against a blue background with piano music playing in the background as she tells the camera: “New Zealand, let me be honest with you. “
He said that while “communities, livelihoods and the future are at stake” and “historic debt is required,” the party is “a team you can trust to manage it.”
“It means giving kiwi companies the confidence to support kiwis to retrain or go out on their own, delivering infrastructure, a secure border and a smarter, greener future.”
On Friday, the National Party unveiled its plan to cut the extra costs of electric vehicles and allow electric vehicle drivers to use bus lanes, in an attempt to encourage absorption and reduce emissions.
The video then moves on to a group shot of Collins with National Party members as she says: “It’s a great job, but with our plan to make New Zealand work, you can trust us to do it.”
In the Labor announcement, released Friday, leader Jacinda Ardern talks about Covid-19, rebuilding the economy, business and jobs.
“These are uncertain times, but we’ve seen what we can accomplish with a solid plan, so let’s stick together and keep moving forward,” Ardern said in the video.
Both spots will be among those to air on television in the run-up to Election Day.
The election takes place on October 17, with early voting open two weeks before.
