Autopsy reports that Naya Rivera asked for help while drowning

Details about Naya Rivera’s death emerged when the Ventura County Medical Examiner released the full autopsy and investigation reports of the star.

The investigation report obtained by People indicated that Josey, Rivera’s 4-year-old son, said that “before the star disappeared into the water and drowned, they counted ‘1, 2, 3’ and jumped together from the pontoon into the Piru Lake in Ventura County, California, on July 8. “

According to the report, Rivera’s son said that after getting into the water his mother told him to go back to the boat.

Although Rivera had a history of vertigo, officials said he was in good health.

The drug Adderall had been prescribed for Rivera for anxiety and he was recently taking medication for a sinus infection. Additionally, Rivera “used a marijuana vaporizer and smoked about a pack of cigarettes per week,” according to the report.

Rivera had no “known history of suicidal ideation or attempted suicide.”

The actress is also thought to be a “good swimmer” and the cause of her death continues to be drowning.

The manner of death was considered an accident.

The Ventura County Medical Examiner also released Rivera’s toxicology report.

It revealed that Rivera had low levels of amphetamine (Adderall, Dexedrine), diazepam, ethanol, and phentermine (an appetite suppressant) in his system, as well as caffeine, at the time of his death.

According to the toxicology report, his blood alcohol concentration was 0.016.

“[Naya’s] cell phone, syringes with a pink liquid substance, identification and a prescription filled with amphetamine was found in [her] handbag.
