Another student at the West Auckland school tested positive for coronavirus.
The student, from Henderson North School Elementary School, was a close contact for another, at nearby St Dominic’s Catholic College, who tested positive for the virus Tuesday.
Henderson North School confirmed the news on its website on Friday, posting a letter from the Auckland Regional Public Health Service, dated September 10.
The elementary student is now isolated and was not contagious when he last attended school.

“The Auckland Regional Public Health Service has investigated and confirms that there are no close contacts.
“Public health considers that the risk to any other student or staff is very low and the school remains closed.”
The student and family continue to isolate themselves and their health and well-being are monitored.
Principal Irene Ogden assured families that the student is doing well and while she understands that some parents want to keep their children at home, the school remains open and safe.
Both students are associated with the Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship church subgroup.
