Cyclist Brent Norriss was killed in a collision near Wellington in February.
The man accused of killing cyclist Brent Norriss in an accident near Wellington pleaded guilty.
Khing Tiang Wong appeared in Hutt Valley District Court on Tuesday charged with dangerous driving and causing death.
He will be sentenced on November 4.
Norriss, 65, was killed in February when he was hit on his bicycle on Hutt Rd. At the time of the accident, he was cycling to a friend’s house in Lower Hutt, where he had been staying.

Norriss worked for the Commerce Commission and was traveling from Christchurch to Wellington on business.
On the occasion of his death, some 600 cyclists gathered in Parliament on February 17.
The cyclists, many dressed in Norriss’s favorite red color, headed to the BP gas station on State High Way 2, near where he died.
They observed a minute of silence, interrupted only by cars honking their horns in support of the cyclists.
A wreath was then placed, with the cyclists ringing their bells.
