The degrading note was written on a sickness bag.
A passenger had his flight privileges revoked after writing an abusive note to a US flight attendant who asked him to wear his mask correctly mid-flight.
In the note, written on a flight bag and given to the staff member at the end of the flight, the passenger labeled them a “glorified servant” and a “Nazi mask.”
“You are nothing more than a glorified maiden who needs to jump off her horse and learn to talk to people,” they wrote.
“Nobody cares about your stupid seating policies or your nasal problems. We pay your salary and your attitude is unnecessary.”

Telling the flight attendant what they “mean … in life,” the passenger added: “The fact that we have to listen and bow to a nobody who does … except collect our garbage and serve food from shit makes me absolutely sick. “
“If it wasn’t for this job, I’d be cleaning motel rooms for a $ 2 tip and methamphetamine.”
The note ended with a final insult: “I made sure to write this on a bag labeled what I think your life is actually … A WASTE.”
An image of the note was shared on Twitter, with the caption: “Today a passenger handed this to a flight attendant upon disembarking. The flight attendant had asked him to put the mask over his nose. Incredibly done with the public in general”.
The post left Twitter users appalled at the cruel nature of the letter.
“This person has some deep problems,” commented one.
“I’m the guy who brings chocolates for the flight attendants on every flight. They have a hard job, which has gotten more complicated by lives as low as this. This person was probably in seat 32B, a basic economy ticket and his name was Karen, “said another.
Since then, the passenger has been suspended from flying with American Airlines.
“American Airlines is investigating an incident involving a customer passing an offensive and derogatory note to one of our flight attendants, and this customer’s ability to travel on American has been suspended,” the airline said in a statement to Fox. News.
“Our flight attendants are professionals who play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our passengers, and we will not tolerate mistreatment of them.”

“If you refuse to use one, you may be denied boarding and future travel on American Airlines,” the site says.

“Customers and team members have made it clear that they feel safer when everyone wears a face shield. In light of this important feedback, we are expanding and improving our requirements on board and at airports.”
