The New Zealand government has removed numerous restrictions and has moved the country to Alert Level 2.
Many cities and towns are expected to be busy with people eager to get out again, after nearly two months of extreme restrictions designed to combat the spread of Covid-19.
Things Photographers took to the streets Thursday morning to capture people, regaining a sense of freedom.

Passengers passed through Wellington train station on Thursday morning, many wearing masks.
Several trains arriving at the station were nearly empty, while others carried a fraction of the passengers they were carrying before closing.
Outside the station, Mike Leigh sold homemade face masks for $ 15 each.
He had sold some in the hour that he had been there.
“I certainly think they are a good idea on public transportation.”
