Police and emergency services called after death in Henderson, West Auckland

Police are investigating an incident in the early hours of this morning in West Auckland that resulted in a death.

Police and emergency services were called to Great North Rd, in the Henderson suburb, just before 1.30 in the morning.

A photographer on the scene said members of the Fire and Emergency NZ were also on the scene.

“Police personnel together with specialized members of the crime investigation office [were] on the scene, “he said.

“Two San Juan ambulances and a manager attended.”

A police Eagle helicopter and a team of police dogs were also seen parked on a nearby street.

The photographer said that a woman in a white jumpsuit was seen being removed by police officers around 2.30 in the morning.

However, it was not known if she had anything to do with the incident.

Police said this morning that they were called to an incident in Henderson, but that they would release more information soon.
