Police are investigating a series of assaults on women in Palmerston North (file photo).
Police believe that a series of assaults on women in Palmerston North were likely committed by the same person.
Four women reported being assaulted in different incidents in the city since May 1.
Each woman was walking or running and was attacked by an unknown man, who fled on foot each time.
None of the women were injured, but the offensive shook them, police said.

Although the police could not confirm whether it was the same man each time, they believed it was likely.
The assaults occurred on May 1 at 12.40 p.m. on a catwalk near John F Kennedy Drive on May 8 at 11:40 a.m. on Vernon Ave, May 11 at 4:30 p.m. at Rosedale Cres and May 12 at 5.45 a.m. at Wood St.
