Supreme Court Opposition PIL filed in Sushant Singh Rajput case
Attorney Ajay Agarwal had filed a PIL in the Supreme Court seeking CBI probe into the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. However, the court has annulled it to another that is August 21, 2020. Chief Justice SA Bobde and AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian have taken the decision together.

CBI directs submission to the Supreme Court
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a complaint with SC against the plea of Rhea Chakraborty for transfer of the case to Mumbai. They have also stated that there is no question of transfer, as there is no case hanging in the city.

Maharashtra Government registers submission to Supreme Court
Among others, the Maharashtra government has also filed a petition with the SC stating that the FIR filing in Patna is ‘mala fide and illegal’. Moreover, it also states that the family of Sushant Singh Rajput has filed an FIR due to political pressure.
