New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson broke his leg in Saturday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks and will be re-evaluated tomorrow. Robinson’s injury was also reported by Athletic’s Shams Charania and on the MSG network.

Robbins broke his leg in the first quarter after defending Brooke Lopez and stealing. He almost immediately walked away from the game and Narlene Noel went inside.

Now, both Noel and Taj Gibson can expect to see extended minutes in the center.

Talk about bad times. Michelle Robinson loses 15 games with a broken arm, hitting an ankle in her first game and then breaking her leg. It’s a shame because he’s not only a great rim defender, but Robinson was also showing more confidence on the offensive end.

But now, the New York Knicks need to plan life without Robinson for a while. The good news is that they already have plenty of size, but what about the latest free agent Andre Drummond? Of Mark Berman The New York Post Reported that Knicks is not interested in it, and ESPN’s Adrian Wozniacki Reported that the Los Angeles Lakers loved to land them.

Things have changed in New York now. Robinson’s foot could keep him out for long, and the Knicks had hat space to sign Dickmond long-term. Maybe team president Leon Rose could reconsider his position.

Then again, Noel leads the league in defensive blushes plus / minus and Gibson is still a capable big man. Robinson, hopefully, will be able to recover quickly and return sooner rather than later.
