New trailer for Marvel’s Avengers video game reveals MODOK as villain

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed a new trailer for Marvel avengers, the super powerful video game that will arrive this September, which gives a little more detail of the plot but much more important reveals that the main antagonist will be none other than the Mental Organism designed only to kill, better known as MODOK

It is well documented that every person in Collider (see: literally just me) thinks that MODOK, a powerful can of tuna with psychic abilities, genius intellect, and little noodle legs, is a comic book icon that deserves more respect. This new trailer explains how the game fits into my friend’s huge bulbous head in the story. Marvel avengers she follows Kamala Khan (also known as Ms. Marvel) as she tries to assemble a squad of Avengers that has been abandoned by society. Making her mission more difficult are past ties to George Tarleton, the low-key crazy leader of Advanced Idea Mechanics who eventually morphs into MODOK

“I will eliminate Earth from superpowers,” says Tarleton in the trailer. “Even if it has to end with me.”
