New song for ‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’ by vocalist Wardruna


With the recent announcement that a new installment in the “Assassin’s Creed” video game franchise is coming this fall, there’s also the news of a pretty impressive soundtrack. the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Out of the North The EP will arrive this Friday (July 17), and before the new music, Loudwire has the premiere of “Hrafnsmál – The Words of the Raven”, composed by Wardruna vocalist Einar Selvik specifically for the game.

Selvik first rose to fame behind the drum kit for the Gorgoroth black metallers, but has been putting his efforts towards the Wardruna folk metal team since 2003. That folk metal influence can be heard in the exciting musical landscape he has created for the game “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla”. titled “Hrafnsmál – The Words of the Raven”, which can be heard in the following player.

“It is a great honor for me to be welcomed into this massive entity of ‘Assassin’s Creed’ and the pillars of historical gaming history,” says Einar. “Ubisoft has entrusted me to create music that is displayed and based on authentic Nordic historical musicality. Through historical instruments, their inherent tones, oral poetic traditions and language, I have tried to create creations that could bring the player closer to the subject and to the era of the game. It feels great to finally be able to share the first piece of music with all of you! ”

As stated, there is a new soundtrack EP for the game titled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Out of the North, which will arrive tomorrow (July 17) via Lakeshore Records. The seven-song set also includes special appearances by composers Jesper Kyd and Sarah Schachner. Go ahead and save beforehand so you can listen to the EP digitally at this location.

As for the game itself, Ubisoft recently announced a November 17 release date for “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla”, which will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation4, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store on Windows PC, as well as UPLAY +, Ubisoft subscription service and stadiums.

This latest saga follows Eivor, a fierce Viking assailant raised in tales of battle and glory. Offering a captivating Viking experience, the game takes players to a beautiful and mysterious open world in the brutal context of England’s Middle Ages. Players can take advantage of new features such as raids, growing their settlements, and building their power in a quest to earn a place among the gods in Valhalla.

Meanwhile, in preparation for the game’s launch, not only is there the Out of the north EP, but fans can also dig a little deeper with Matthew J. There is also a Cavan Scott “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Song of Glory” Dark Horse Comics series starting on October 21.

And finally, there is a commentary art book called “The Art of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla”, along with a deluxe edition, which is expected to help support the game as well.
