New Overwatch 2 designs for Reaper, McCree, Farah and Widomaker announced

Overwatch 2 Blizzard Online had a slightly lower attendance than some of Blizzard Entertainment’s games – in part because the game is still a long way off – but the Overwatch team didn’t show up empty-handed. During the show, Blizzard gave a behind-the-scenes look at its sequel Overwatch, Including new looks for the heroes and villains of that game.

Blizzard highlighted design overlays for four characters: McCree, Farah, Rapper and Widowmaker. In some cases, the changes are not particularly drastic; McCree still has his signature cowboy hat and syrup, but he, like the others Overwatch 2 Characters, give it a slightly more technical look. Oh, and his dardi is a bit long – everyone’s dardi is long, obviously.

And then there’s the widow producer. As you can see in the gallery below, Blizzard tried out a few more dramatic looks for Sniper. According to lead character concept artist Arnold Tsang, Blizzard eventually went with something more “cyberpunk”.

The Widow Producer also has braid games now … and some questionable armor plating.

Farah retains her full body armor, but has a more translucent visor to show more emotion, Sasang said, and a little more white in her color scheme. As for the reaper, it retains the same silhouette and edgelard style, but now has more silver in its appearance. But otherwise, in the hero and the villain Overwatch 2 Preserve many elements of their original compositions.

Overwatch 2 There is no release date yet, but Activision told Blizzard not to expect the game in 2021.
