New Galaxy and Watch Active 2 update brings other Galaxy and Watch 3 features


A new Galaxy & Active 2 update is being rolled out today from Galaxy and Watch, which brings another feature from Galaxy and Watch. Samsung has already brought a lot of features in the Galaxy and Active 2 with its latest smartwatch. New running coaches, running analysis, VO2 measurement and fall detection are just some of the features that have been ported.

With this latest update, the capabilities of last year’s wearable device have been further improved. The rollout of the update began earlier in South Korea. Users around the world will be able to download it soon.

More Galaxy and Watch Active 3 inbound features

Samsung is now bringing the firmware version R820XXU1CTJ5 For Galaxy and Watch Active 2. Weighing in at just over 60MB, the updated, paired headset enables the device to provide voice guidance during exercises.

The watch will periodically work with helpful tips. Similarly, voice guidance for accumulated distance and heart rate has also been added when running or biking exercises are recorded automatically.

A minor user interface has also been modified. The other hand will not be displayed on the clock face when the display is always set. Some general housekeeping has also been done to improve the stability and performance of general software.
