Netflix star Jacob Elordi spoke about his problems with fans that focused on his body after he frequently appeared shirtless in “The Kissing Booth,” which premiered in 2018.
Elordi, 23, said he “trained extensively” for the first movie in the Netflix franchise because he thought the producers wanted his character, Noah Flynn, to be in top form.
“At that time, I was very young and I was thrown into a world where everyone wanted to talk about my body. Really, the king bothered me, ”he told Men’s Health.

Elordi added: “I don’t identify with that at all. I was trying to prove myself and be known as an actor. It was a lot of work and I hated every second of it. “
The actor revealed that his exercise routine was working seven days a week, sometimes twice a day.
“[Getting ready for The Kissing Booth] it was about sculpting and making sure I had this figure that I thought the character needed, ”he said.
The “Euphoria” star continued, “Now, it’s more functional. I wanted to be a blank canvas and more concerned about my health. I wanted to be able to walk and run with my grandchildren when I’m 80 years old, you know? It’s more about being functional than real aesthetics. “

After Elordi’s decision to modify his fitness regimen, the producers of “The Kissing Booth” made him do fewer shirtless scenes in the second movie, which premiered last week. His character also got more character development.
