Netflix announced a new anime based on Dragon dogma at the beginning of last year, but had not released any updates or new information so far with the first poster for the new anime and even a release date. Netflix revealed its desire to expand its anime originals and licenses a couple of years ago, and one of the efforts is to give many unexpected franchises their anime expiration. This resulted in a new partnership with Sublimation, which had produced a new Capcom-based anime. Dragon dogma franchise. Now it’s heading towards us this September!
Netflix finally released the first look at this new Dragon dogma Anime through your official Twitter account. This is the first poster for the new series, and not only do we have an idea of what this anime will look like, it also confirms that this new anime is heading towards us on September 17. Netflix describes the next Dragon dogma anime as such, “Based on a world-famous action RPG set in an open world, CAPCOM’s Dragon’s Dogma will come to life as an original Netflix anime series. The story follows the journey of a man seeking revenge against a dragon that stole his heart On his way, man comes back to life as a ‘Risen One’. An action adventure about a man challenged by demons representing the seven deadly sins of humans. “

This new series will feature CGI Sublimation animation and Representative Director Atsushi Koishikawa mentioned how the studio is excited to produce its own title when the series was first announced, “The Sublimation team has dreamed of working on our own title. Many We sometimes work with partner studios to create partial CGI portions within a given title, so we feel very fortunate to be working with Netflix through this production line agreement.We are excited to be able to offer our exclusive cel shaded animation that brings hand-drawn textures to anime fans the world over. “
