Fridge-sized space-rock leads us, he tweeted, it will ‘roar the earth on November 2nd.’
Renowned astrophysicist Neil DeGrass Tyson Posted a picture of a planet approaching Earth that could strike the planet before the Nov. 3 election.
“Asteroid 2018 VP1, a refrigerator-sized space-rock, hurts us at speeds in excess of 40,000 km per hour,” he wrote in a tweet on Saturday. “He can conceive on Earth on November 2, the day before the presidential election.”

He noted that asteroids are not large enough to cause damage. So if the world ends in 2020, it will not be the fault of the universe. ”
Despite the warning, NASA has Previously Confirmed that asteroids have a 1% probability of actually hitting Earth.
In response to Tyson’s tweet, a user asked him: “What do we plan to do if a large asteroid is about to strike Earth?”
“No,” he said Replied. “Indeed, we have plans, but none of them are funded.”
Another user wrote, “Technically everything is the fault of the universe, Neil.”

Since the agency began keeping records in 1998, NASA researchers have listed “objects close to Earth.”
The nearest asteroid that Tyson says degrades was found in 2018.
On August 16 this year, another planet passed 1,830 miles from Earth. It was not the closest known, affected planet, according to NASA officials.

Even asteroids will not pose any risk to people on Earth due to its size. However, it worries astronomers because it cannot be detected until it passes through the planet.
