‘NBA 2K21’ goes full MMO with next-gen City mode


The visual concepts will connect the first mayor of the NBA 2K community game to meet the initial deadline. After that, each alliance will vote their representative through an in-game poll – if you haven’t had an election in the last week. Each term lasts six weeks, and as mayor, you will have the power to define your group’s visual identity. Visual concepts will allow the mayor to customize their attachment uniforms, court designs and more.

As you explore the hub, you’ll find basketball hoops next to some of the buildings. Here you can challenge other players in HORSE games and half court games with a total of six players. Along the way, you’ll also stumble upon an NPC that will allow you to complete quests. Like their counterparts in almost every other MMO, they will have an exclamation mark over your head to let you know that they have an assignment to complete. Naturally, there are also in-game stores around the world where you can customize the look of your character.

You will be able to check the City once NBA 2K21 The Xbox Series X and Series S will be released on November 10 and the PlayStation 5 on November 12.
