Naya Rivera’s sister shares heartbreaking tribute after ‘Glee’ Star’s death: ‘My world is upside down’


Naya Rivera’s sister says that “her world turned upside down” after the Joy The death of the star.

Nickayla Rivera shared a heartbreaking tribute to her older sister on social media on Saturday (July 25), posting a black and white photo of her kissing Naya on the cheek along with a heartwarming message.

“Sister, ⁣ there are no words to describe my love for you,” the 25-year-old model began posting to Instagram. “Side by side or miles apart, our connection is infinite. Our bond is unbreakable. We were completely opposite, but at the same time equal. Yin to my yang. I never knew that by losing you, I would find so much of you in myself. . ” ⁣

Naya Rivera, 33, who played Santana López in the popular Fox music series. Joy, died in an accidental drowning in Lake Piru, California. She went missing while sailing with her 4-year-old son on July 8, and authorities recovered her body less than a week later.

Her sister continued: “I have never known a life without you and I still cannot imagine it. My world is turned upside down. But despite everything, everything that we were, we still are. I will always look with the same eyes as me when I was young. “My shmaya, I will love you for eternity and I will miss you every second of my life.”

Dozens of tributes have been flooded by following the Joy The student’s death. Ryan Dorsey, River’s ex-husband and father of their son, also broke her silence on Saturday with an emotional tribute on Instagram.

“This is so unfair … there are not enough words to express the emptiness left in everyone’s hearts. I can’t believe this is life now. I don’t know if I’ll ever believe it,” wrote Dorsey, who was Married to the actress from 2014 to 2018.
