One of The Last of Us: Part II’s most poignant moments is something you can skip entirely. During the Seattle Day 1 episode, Ellie and Dina take time to hunt down Abby while exploring a music store full of instruments. And on the second floor, the budding couple sits well while the protagonist discovers a guitar in perfect condition. This leads to Ellie’s interpretation of Take on me by a-ha and Naughty Dog Vice President Neil Druckmann shared on Twitter what he looked like during rehearsals.
As you can see we have Ashley Johnson as Ellie and Shannon Woodward from Dina taking exactly the same positions as the game lovers. It’s a beautiful moment that helps break the intense combat sequences around her, proving that there is still some love left in this post-apocalyptic world.
