NASA wants to keep the moon’s mission in the dark

If NASA has a long-term presence on the moon, it will need an alternative to the typical solar power radiation – in some cases lunar nights can last up to two weeks. And the agency is turning to outsiders for help. “Watts on the Moon” is partnering with Herox on the Moon, which offers up to માં 5 million in total prizes if you can create energy solutions for lunar missions. Those who come forward will not even have to wait until the technology is approved before going on a lunar journey.

The three-phase challenge begins by providing solutions by creators who can power a mission with three activities. NASA judges will select three winners for each activity and give them 100,000 each, with up to four runners each receiving 50,000 50,000. Phase 2 will serve vendors with developed prototypes and reward up to $ 4 million. If one or more companies reach the third phase, they will team up with NASA to create hardware for an “operational demonstration” on the moon.
