Black Friday was celebrated in many parts of the world on November 27 as it marks the beginning of the holiday season in the West and the countdown to the Christmas festivities.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) also had a fair share of their celebrations but their focus was not on shopping but on one of the most exciting things in space, the black hole. Calling it Black Hole Friday, members of the American Space Agency gave an inspiration to the black hole.
Taking to their official facial Instagram handle, NASA posted a stunning picture of a black hole and shared some funds on one of the biggest secrets of outer space.
The long post said that black holes are “a gravitational pull astronomical thing so light, nothing can escape it.” He went on to say that his surface is like a pro lane with matter and radiation falling into a black hole but he will never be able to escape.
“The surface of a black hole, called its event horizon, determines the boundary where velocity is required to survive. [is more than] The speed of light, which is the speed limit of the universe. Matter and radiation drop, but they can’t get out, ”the caption added.
The post also said that the image depicted is not real but the artist Sophia Dagnelo’s imaginary vision of the tidal disturbance event.
Explaining the phenomenon, the statement said that when a star passes “near a supermassive black hole,” it then reacts by “launching a jet orbiting hundreds of thousands of light-years into space.”
For the uninitiated, Black Friday is celebrated primarily in the United States and other Western countries on Fridays after Thanksgiving Day, which falls on Thursdays. Black Friday is thus celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.
People start their Christmas shopping and all portals and vendors plan sales. Popularly, the day after Thanksgiving has been celebrated in the U.S. since 1952. Christmas is considered the beginning of the shopping season.
