Naomi Harris believes she took on more roles after an ‘unpleasant experience’ at Cambridge University


Naomi Harris believes her teaching career at Cambridge University was enhanced by the fact that it gives the film boss a ‘different understanding of her’.

The 45-year-old actress told Tatler that she believes the film’s boss automatically believes she has a brain after studying social and political science at Pembroke College.

As she prepares to reprise her role as Eve Monipeni in the James Bond film No Time to Die, Naomi also said she hopes the blockbuster result will be seen by some fans as ‘female-dominated’.

Naomi explained that during her time at Cambridge she mingled with many individuals who came to positions of power in the film industry, and now believes that her elite education may have benefited her in some roles.

He said: “Although it was not a particularly enjoyable experience, Cambridge has always been a help to me.”

‘I also think it gives you gravity in terms of people’s perceptions. I’m not saying it should be like this.

‘But as a result of going there, people think you are different. And I think, especially as a woman in this industry, it helps to come. People assume, ” Oh. She has a brain. ”

Nomi discussed Monipeny’s role in No Time to Die, and expressed hope that this version of the film would be more ‘female-dominated’.

She added: ‘Walking is a difficult titrop. You have to respect the old bond. If you modernize too quickly, you will lose what bonds make.

The film, directed by Kerry Joji Fukunaga, was originally scheduled to release in April 2020, but was postponed in November due to a coronavirus epidemic.
