Muv-Luv photonmelodies, Unlimited The Day After Episode 04, Project Mikhail, Project Immortal, Alternative anime, and more.
Avex and anNCHOR held the Muv-Luv Expo: The Summer of (Muv) Luv event on July 1, revealing multiple new details about Muv-Luv games and projects. It was the biggest Muv-Luv event since the twentieth anniversary event in October 2019 where Muv-Luv Integrate It was announced. Interestingly, one of the biggest surprises about the event was not the new information itself, but the fact that anNCHOR strove to fully translate the broadcast, including all the information and slides, into English. Usually, Japanese companies or events at most only do an English version of their broadcast, with commenters translating snippets of live information. Here, every little thing was translated. As such, my role is quite limited compared to my usual summaries of Japanese broadcasts, which are more punctual and detailed.
If you really like it Muv-Luv Watch the entire sequence yourself. It will definitely be worth it. And if you can understand some Japanese, it would also redirect you to the weekly Yoshimune Kouki broadcasts. That they don’t pay me enough to cover each week. Anyway, here is a summary of everything revealed at Muv-Luv Expo.

Expo Muv-Luv: new details on Mikhail project (Provisional title)
Muv-Luv Mikhail Project first announced in 20th anniversary broadcast [still breathing] event in October 2019. (âge is the original name of an ANCHOR). It is an online multiplayer action game that will reach 2021 worldwide for PC via Steam, iOS and Android. The game was previously described as “Muv-Luv Armored CoreIn particular, it won’t be free and it won’t have a gacha system, but it will have something similar to a subscription. At Muv-Luv Expo, we learned new details about the game’s history and gameplay.
The game’s first teaser, revealed in May 2020, stated how “his decisions guide the world.” We learned at Muv-Luv Expo that it literally meant that. Players in Mikhail project they all share the same world, and each person’s actions will affect the experience of everyone else. This will allow the story of the game to represent new possibilities that are not seen in any Muv-Luv timeline so far. Such as changing the events of the coup d’etat arc. This is quite interesting, since Mikhail project It could be the perfect simulator for veterans Muv-Luv fans arguing for over 15 years about what plans and what options would be better.
Players will also be able to fully customize their TSFs.
Lastly, pre-alpha gameplay images from Mikhail project was shown on the broadcast at the 29:10 mark. Please note that while the game is running on mobile devices, the game is primarily developed for PC.
Expo Muv-Luv: new details on Immortal project (Provisional title)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFmg_n_pONU
Muv-Luv Immortal Project is a free-to-play action RPG with strategy elements, coming to iOS, Android, and PC in 2021. Immortal project I also got a sneak peek in May 2020 which in particular jokes about how the game will still be playable offline even if it closes, a typical Cookie auto-jab reference Muv-Luv Alternative Strike Frontier which closed in 2018. The mobile market in Japan is ruthless and saturated, many games end up closing every year, sometimes just a few months after launch. It’s a nightmare for the artists and developers who did a ton of hard work, and fans lose the game’s content forever.
We learned in the stream Immortal project It could also come to consoles, and the development team hopes it’s possible. The game will have TSF customization, a story mode, PvP, Coop, random stages, and more.
Muv-Luv alternative Anime adaptation project goes smoothly
A rough design for Takemikazuchi in the next Muv-Luv alternative The anime adaptation was first revealed at Muv-Luv Expo. The project is going well. The previous trailer was released in May 2020.
Muv-Luv alternative Manga will be officially available in English this July
This is self explanatory.

Muv-Luv (Muv) Luv’s Summer Expo: Q&A Corner
The second half of the broadcast was a long discussion and a question and answer corner. Starting the 1:20:00 mark. The staff answered questions from fans. The staff who responded were Muv-Luv original author Yoshimune Kouki, Muv-Luv General producer tororo (Kazutoshi Matsumura), Mikhail project Director Hitoshi Kumano, and Immortal project developer Kitakuou.
Tororo also said Mikhail Project, Immortal Project, The Day After Episode 4, and Muv-Luv Integrate, anNCHOR is currently working on 2-3 unannounced projects.
Yoshimune Kouki would like to do The day after episode 04 short stories about Marimo and Ikaruga, Takeru and Meiya. You already thought of stories for this, but The day after It focuses on the two new characters it introduces, Hibiki and Yuzuka. So you are not sure if you can. ADD You can’t focus on what each character does.
Hitoshi Kumano: Players will be able to customize the color of dropped TSF parts in Mikhail project. They are also considering a feature to display their own squad emblem on the parties.
Hitoshi Kumano: Mikhail project It won’t fully express itself, that may seem like a drawback, but at least this way new scenario updates won’t have to wait for seiyuu availability, and will add more and more scenarios.
Hitoshi Kumano: Mikhail Project It won’t have romance-related game systems, but it will be similar to that if, for example, you keep choosing options that will please a certain girl, raising your confidence levels.
the Immortal project The team still didn’t think about whether to add romantic elements or not.
Hitoshi Kumano: In Mikhail project which NPC you decide to help and the choices you make can be chosen before each mission and will not affect the parts and rewards you get. That way there will be no certain options or NPCs that are more advantageous than others in terms of gameplay.
Yoshimune Kouki was asked “what is the strongest TSF besides Susanoo”. He replied if you consider every Muv-Luv material released so far will be the Hinokagutsuchi in Ayu-Mayu alternative and the second would be the F-47 Ishkur. The MC event added how, at the end of the day, each TSF is made for a different situation, so it will ultimately be mission dependent.
That’s it. Thank you for reading. We have tons of Muv-Luv things to look forward to in 2020 and 2021. Personally, I never thought the series would be regularly located this way when I first heard it more than ten years ago. As a side note, âge is also working on a Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien reboot, which I am personally looking forward to as well.
