wwe covid-19 positive test test multiple people testing coronavirus

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned that several people in WWE who have been to the Performance Center tested positive for COVID-19 this week, including talent in the ring.

While it’s unclear when exactly they were tested, or how many of them were for wrestlers, sources tell us that at least three people who had been to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando received positive results this week.

Our sources say that the WWE medical team will conduct further tests ahead of this week’s television production to make sure the virus has not spread among behind-the-scenes talents / workers.

As previously reported, a talent for development positive result for COVID-19 causing production to stop for one day last week. Everyone who had been in the building was screened and each person who received a negative test was able to resume filming the content in the Performance Center. It is unclear if these results are related to that round of testing or if additional tests were conducted.

According to the Associated Press, the single-day count of new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Florida rose to 5,500 people on Wednesday. This is triple the level of two weeks ago.
