Capcom has detailed Monster Hunter World: Iceborne The title 4 update, which will be released for all platforms on July 9, and released the developer’s sixth journal and an updated roadmap.
The updated roadmap is as follows:

This Fall – Fifth major title update (Version 15.00)

Here are the details of the title 4 update:

Main additions / changes
- general
- Alatreon has been added. (Alatreon will be available after finishing the Iceborne story and completing Safi’jiiva’s recon assignment.)
- Frostfang Barioth has been added. (Frostfang Barioth will be available on a limited-time event quest, and appears as a tempered monster)
- System
- New merge options added to create parsed special tracks.
- Now you can put a new decoration in your room in Seliana.
- A new BGM can now be played in your room at Seliana.
- New designs for the squad card were added.
- New pendants added.
- Diverse
- Increased the number of Pod Screamer you get by combining Screamer Sacks.
- Adjusted Steamworks reward items received at the end of the mini-game with one game.
- The Raider Ride Call icon now displays on the item bar sorting screen even while on base.
- The following charms were added: Draw Charm III, Phoenix Charm III, Fitness Charm V
Bug fixes and balance adjustments
- Base / installation
- Fixed an issue where the level effect after unlocking the level cap for some skills was not showing on the skill info screen.
- Fixed an issue where, in certain situations, the Safi’jiiva Recon Assignment did not appear for the character in the second saved data space.
- Fixed an issue occurring on the Guiding Lands rewards screen, where if the item box was at full capacity, items would be discarded instead of being sold.
- Fixed an issue with some items being sorted in an unnatural order.
- Fixed an issue where the game would not recognize that the player had met the criteria for the research request “Velkhana’s Frozen Breath!”
- Changed the mission rank of the “The Assassin” event mission from Master Rank 3 to 5. This does not affect the mission itself or the conditions for joining.
- Fixed an issue that occurred in the Guidelands section of the Hunter’s Notes, where the Material Rarity drop for certain monster levels was not displaying the correct information.
- Fixed an issue where if the player downloaded data from uploaded photos, the icon indicating when an investigation request could be submitted would disappear.
- Addresses an issue in which certain steps result in “!” The icon indicating an important dialog would not be displayed above the head of an NPC.
- Fixed an issue that occurred when editing a squad card, where performing certain controls when selecting a card layout would result in not being able to select anything correctly.
- [PS4] Fixed an issue where OPTIONS button controls would be enabled when editing a squad card.
- [XBOX] Fixed an issue where Menu button controls would be enabled when editing a Squad Card.
- Fixed an issue with Elder Melder where, under certain conditions, an item that could not be obtained would appear in the list.
- Monsters
- Fixed an issue where a monster mount would not cancel when certain monsters freeze or fall asleep while airborne.
- Fixed an issue where a Wyrmstake Blast hosted in Safi’jiiva would disappear if he returned to camp.
- Fixed an issue where rocks on Origin Isle could not be destroyed while the host player was in store.
- Fixed an issue where the small Moonlight Gekko would not appear in the Elder’s Recess.
- Fixed an issue where the Kulu-Ya-Ku and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku master ranks would not drop mushroom ammo when their health decreased.
- Fixed an issue where if Kulve Taroth’s attacks were canceled at a certain time, only the damage hitbox would come out.
- Fixed an issue where rewards for breaking Rajang’s tail would not appear on the results screen.
- Adjustments were made to mitigate the occurrence of the clutch claw bump and the claw position is very different for certain monsters.
- Changed rewards for capturing a tempered gold Rathian in the Guiding Lands from Elder Spiritvein Bone to Spiritvein Solidbone.
- Changed the reward item for the quest “Push That Red Cup” away from the Large Wyvern Gem to the Wyvern Fey Gem.
- Fixed an issue where if Brachydios Raging’s tail was injured, the tip of his tail would not soften.
- Fixed an issue where the player would still be affected by an abnormal state despite successfully countering certain attacks from certain monsters.
- Fixed an issue where under certain conditions Raging Brachydios could be captured.
- Fixed an issue where the Temporal Mantle would not be effective against certain Namielle attacks.
- Fixed an issue where the Golden Mantle of the Kulve Taroth Master Rank was not softening during a mount.
- Player
- Fixed an issue where certain weapons appeared unnatural when sheathed.
- Fixed an issue with Orion / Orion α armor and layered armor sets, where the arm part displayed unnaturally when equipped.
- Fixed an issue with the Kjárr Pipe “Water” hunting horn where the melody effects would stop even if the performances continued.
- [PS4] Fixed an issue with sword and shield, where after getting up from being pushed back, pressing the Circle button with some time could cause you to back off.
- [XBOX] Fixed an issue with sword and shield, where after getting up from being pushed backwards, pressing B with some time could cause you to step back.
- Adjustments were made so that when using items with the custom radial menu, if the item does not exist and the high priority crafting recipe materials are not available, the game will try to create low priority recipe items if materials are available .
- Fixed an issue where values on the Status Screen when Non-Elemental Boost was active were not displaying correctly with certain weapons.
- Fixed an issue where the caster’s ammo was firing in a different direction than the reticle when fighting Kulve Taroth.
- Addresses an issue that occurs when carving from Safi’jiiva, where the default carving animation would be performed even though it is a rare material.
- Fixed an issue where the player character did not appear natural when using specific hairstyles and armor together.
- Fixed an issue where the order of items in the item selection window changed when the Mushroomancer skill was in effect.
- Fixed an issue that if a player was equipped with a bow and then verified the details of a player using a bow weapon from the player list, the status screen would display unnaturally.
- Fixed an issue where if the player adjusted item display on / off settings for fixed items while in base, the item would be displayed at the bottom of the list regardless of player settings.
- Fixed an issue where the player was not landing properly when hitting a wall in a specific position.
- Fixed an issue that occurred when the Placement of Obtained Items option was set to End of Item Bar, during a quest, the Assailant’s Walk Call position would not be properly maintained.
- Fixed an issue where certain parts of the player character were not displaying on the results screen, if they failed a mission or reset a mission while their heads were in a snowman state.
- Fixed an issue that occurred during Safi’jiiva Emperor Sapphire or Behemoth’s Ecliptic Meteorite, where the Demon Ammo and Armor Ammo visuals would show up even if they were not receiving the effects themselves.
- Diverse
- Fixed various typos, etc. for some equipment descriptions.
- Fixed an issue where after viewing the “Nature’s Might” scene in the gallery, starting the game and completing the mission “Faraway Lorelei” would cause the game to be muted.
- Yian Garuga’s scar search has been adjusted so that accidental starts could not occur during the search as players could be extremely disadvantaged at the start of the search.
- Fixed an issue with Palicoes in the field, where the displayed text did not match the current situation.
- Fixed an issue where sound was not playing when using stickers via custom radial menu.
- Addresses an issue that causes an application error when hosts swapped under certain conditions during the Eternal Gold Rush search.
Various other bug fixes have also been made.
Monster Hunter: World and the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne The expansion is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
