On Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, the women came face-to-face at Ashley Darby’s “Sip and See” party (which was held to introduce their baby son Dean to the group). Of course, they had been confused by Charrisse (55), apparently spreading a rumor that Monique, 36, had an invalid relationship with her fitness trainer. (Monique has denied having any affair, and Charrisse has denied the allegations.)

“There was a lot of talk about Charrisse the other night,” said Gizelle Bryant of the recent dinner where Monique confronted Candiace Dillard about inviting Charrisse to her anniversary party.

“You used to be friends,” Gizelle, 49, told Monique and Charrisse. “You came in and you did not speak. There is an elephant, so we’ll just tackle it.”

Monique quickly escaped the call, saying, “You know what, I have to go.”

Gizelle, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger and newcomer Wendy Osefo looked shocked, with Charrisse saying, “[There was] much to talk about when it came to Candiace, however. Interesting. “

“Charrisse, you made the girl come out the door,” said Gizelle, and asked, “Do you know why she was overwhelmed?”

“I have no idea,” Charrisse replied.

Gizelle then explained during a confessional interview that “Charrisse and Monique made it known to everyone that they had a little sister-big sister relationship, but they fell out and it coincided with the rumors that broke about Monique and her coach as her sidekick. . “

Back at the party, Gizelle and Robyn, 41, pressed Charrisse once more about what happened to her and Monique.

“I have no idea why she and I do not talk,” she insists.

“Charrisse has told people … that’s the word on the street,” Gizelle said of the rumor.

A moment before Monique’s exit, Candiace, 33, stormed out after the two – who also filled up – came into a hot exchange.

Things were already tense between Monique and Candiace, as Gizelle explained in last week’s episode that Candiace and Charrisse were getting close. Monique was abused, claiming that Candiace knew her rough history with Charisse.

At dinner, Candiace apologized for not giving Monique a head start that Charrisse would be at her anniversary party.

While Monique accepted her apology, Candiace said off-camera that Monique was “untrustworthy.” The drama between them continued at Ashley’s party, as Monique did not appear to be concerned about Candiace’s relationship with Charrisse.

At Ashley’s party, Candiace declared that she was eating because the night was about her problems with Ashley – and not with Monique. She also felt like she should not be forced to change with Ashley for everyone.

“That was an ambush,” Candiace said of the dinner. “I’m not interested in a conversation with Ashley for the group. When I said that, it should end there.”

“You always want to have everything on your terms,” Monique shot back at Candiace.

“My problem was with Ashley,” Candiace claimed.

Wendy, who was friends with Candiace prior to the show, chimed in, saying, “If she does not consider everyone here to be her friend, then that may be why she does not want to speak for everyone.”

“Do you consider everyone here to be your friend?” Wendy then asked Candiace, to whom she replied, “I do not know what I do anymore.”

“I’m loyal to you, that’s just the type of friend I am,” Wendy replied, asking Monique to say, “Third light, that’s what I did.”

The remark turned out to be a turning point for Candiace, who said, “Monique, you’re a flip-flop.”

“I do not know what it is. I do not know if it is because you and Gizelle are friends now and you need someone new to fight with,” Candiace said before leaving.

“She said she’s ready, we have to respect that,” Karen said as Candiace left the party.

“She’s a child,” Gizelle said.

Ashley later ran after Candiace, who broke down in tears over her strained friendship with Monique.

“I did not want to do that all in your house for your baby. At the end of the day, the issue is between Ashley and Candiace, not Ashley, Candiace and Monique,” Candiace told Ashley, in tears. “I’m not crying over this. She’s on some other s —.”

While Candiace is now in a bad place with Monique, she was able to make progress in her relationship with Ashley.

As viewers recall, last season was exciting, with Candiace asking Ashley to get pregnant and calls her a “roach” the day she was born.

“I never thought you’d sit here with your lactating breasts talking to me and making me feel better about what’s going on. I appreciate it,” Candiace told Ashley. “I really want us to move [forward]. “

“I’m glad you came,” Ashley Candiace said.

The real housewives of Potomac will be broadcast on Sunday at 9pm ET on Bravo.
