‘Mom’ canceled: Allison Jenny explains why the show is coming to an end



Was Allison Jenny blinded by CBS’s end decision Mom?

“I’m sad,” Jenny said. “I wish the writers had that much time to reach the end. He found us earlier than we thought he had heard. We thought, ‘Surely they want more Mom, ‘And they didn’t decide.’

The decision to wrap things up, Jenny said, was probably a financial one.

“There are a lot of reasons behind it – most of it is probably money,” he said. “But I know Chuck Lorre is writing the final episode, and we’re shooting the third to last episode right now.

“I’ve been having a lot of moments where I’m just standing on the set and taking it inside, and looking at all the faces I’ve seen for eight years,” Jenny continued. “Suddenly, he was gone. And then no matter how much I prepare myself for it, I know I’ll just be a tear, a bucket of tears, because it’s just been so incredible. Receive surprise letters from people who are in the program or have calmed down with us. It’s been a great show to be a part of it, and it’s very rare when you do something like that. [where] It positively affects people around the world. It makes me sad, even further. (TVline has reached out to CBS for comment.)

Jenny had previously reflected on the news of the final season in Hardick’s Instagram post on February 18th. “Being a part Mom It has been a great honor of my life for the last eight years – showing laughter, love and hope that can come with recovery. “I thank you [executive producers] Chuck Lore, Gemma Baker [and] Nick Bakay, and all the writers આપવા for giving us these surprisingly flawed and loving characters to keep us alive. ”
